Cinnamon Pear Oatmeal

Absolutely love starting off cool mornings with some oatmeal. A bowl of warm oats helps me wake up and provides me with enough energy to get through the morning at work. If you’re looking for a way to spice up your morning, I definitely recommend adding some cinnamon and brown sugar to your bowl. For some extra sweetness, adding a baked pear will really change the way you look at your oatmeal.

Preheat your oven to 375 F. Cut a pear in half, core it, and sprinkle some cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter. Wrap both halves in foil and put in oven for about 20-30 min. Usually I’ll bake the pears the night before, so I can just quickly heat it up in the morning.
If you’re really feeling frisky, I definitely recommend adding a dollop or two of plain greek yogurt or nordic skyr, and drizzle some melted peanut butter on top. Try it and let me know what you think!
