How to Dehydrate Orange Slices in the Oven
All you need is oranges! Isn’t that amazing? On occasion, I do like to sprinkle the oranges with sugar or spices. Nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice can create a cozy smell for the holiday season.
- Start by preheating oven to 200 F.
- Rinse and wash oranges.
- With a sharp knife or mandolin, slice oranges into thin slices of equal width.
- Lay a piece of parchment paper or non-stick silicon baking mat onto a baking sheet. Lay orange slices on parchment paper with space between each slice.
- Put baking sheet into oven for ~2 1/2 hours until oranges are completely dry. Thicker slices will need longer to bake.
